Picking up from 2018 (http://www.lsmac.org/smf/index.php?topic=1370.0)

The ending balance in 2018 was $162.00.

At our March 13th, 2019 meeting, the club donated a $49 Triton ICP test to the zoo to run on the tank to finally get some insights on why it's still not performing up to spec - https://uniquecorals.com/collections/triton/products/triton-labs-icp-oes-laboratory-seawater-analysis?variant=2759203291174 - I covered the shipping costs.

Ben Harstad made a $10 donation to the club at the same meeting.

$50 was spent today to renew LSMAC's MASNA Membership for a year.

As of today, $325.00 has been sent via Paypal to Dr. Sanjay Joshi for airfare reimbursement.

New Club Balance - ($252.00)

We've also received several pre-event ticket and raffle ticket purchases via Paypal; these were used as the source of funds to reimburse Dr. Joshi. So while we are showing a negative balance, we have pre-event ticket sales, and I'll have to account for those along with Paypal Fees. In reality, the club is in the black, but I will probably wait until all the payments and expenses of the event are accounted for and then reconcile everything in one shot.

Presale Admission Tickets:
3 Couple Tix @ $40.00 = $120.00
7 Single Admission Tix @ $25.00 = $175.00

Presale Raffle Tickets:
2 X of 25 tix @$20.00 = $40.00
2 X of 100 tix @ $75.00 = $150.00

$190

Paypal Fees: -$17.09 ($17.00)


Subtotal - $463

New Club Balance - $211

I'll have to get an accounting of the cash and expenses incurred, so that should hopefully improve things further.

Boomer has reported that the club took in $195 cash at the event this month. $30 was furnished to Ben for expenses incurred, leaving $165 cash on hand. Boomer has relayed that he will be writing a check to the zoo for the $165 which will be handed over at tonight's meeting (8/21/19).

No change to the "club balance" at this time. It was discussed that all funds the club received will go to the zoo in one fashion or another, so ultimately we'll be returning the club's cash on hand to the $123 we started with.
