These guys are still spawning! I haven't seen a clutch in a long time and I wasn't sure they were still spawning but today I found eggs and they are bright orange so I think they spawned today. I had checked this area a few days ago and noticed it looked like a spawn site but no eggs were present. They apparently don't like that I was taking the flower pot with their eggs so they moved the spawn site to the bottom of the tank on the glass in the back. I can see the remnants of several spawns so I assume they have been spawning for a long time without me noticing. Adding this back on the active projects list!

Pretty decent hatch last night. Scooped them out and set them up in the BRT. Looking good today.

I offered TDO A this morning, several of them took interest and at least tried to eat it.

I have never quantified how I tint the water green. I use chloramX and Rotigreen in a 1:3 ratio. Right after hatch I use .5ml of chloramX and 1.5ml of rotigreen in approximately 5gallons of water. I do this once a day for at least the first three days. After that I slowly add less of each until after meta. I generally just keep an eye on the babies, if they are on the side of the BRT I add more if they are in the middle I keep it as is.

Two days after settlement (12/25/2017).

He's hard to see, he's on the left center by the heater cord. He's the only survivor so I didn't want to risk loosing him by taking him out and getting a better picture. Ill post more soon as I'm more confident with him.
