Another personal donation - algae was getting bad in the coral QT, and I received a captive-bred Yellow Tang with a partially inflated swim bladder. I can't sell a fish like that despite having to pay for it (I didn't catch the problem right away, and if you dont' report it right away, you don't get credited).  So...it's going to live out it's life as algae control behind the scenes at the Zoo.  Retail value..in the past the "scratch and dent" fish like this were made available for $99 on my website.

Oops...when I submitted expenses for reimbursement, I completely neglected the 150 gallon box of Reef Crystals I brought from my home stash.  Well, I guess that'll be a personal donation from me for around $50 nowadays!

Another small, maybe trivial donation, just a couple packs of Gel Super Glue from the Dollar Store...we need more for fragging (and now I need more at home too!)

On 10/11/17, I brought the following donations:

1. Ecoxotic Panorama LED fixture with bonus stunner strips and extra Actinic / Blue Panorama Strip; also had stand mount. This is a used fixture, and needs one driver replaced.
2. 3 captive-bred Yellow Tangs, $129 each retail value, produced by Oceanic Institute in Hawaii.
3. 1 captive-bred Jackknife Fish, Equetus lanceolatus, $99 retail value, produced by Proaquatix.

For the Jan '18 meeting, I kicked in a quick approx. $25 donation of extension cords purchased at Menards to get the new lights and signage rewired.

8/28/18 - donated a used Penn Plax Cascade Canister Filter to the zoo to replace the existing media reactor that has been a continual problem. While functional, we noted that it will need a new impeller. Also donated big, largely unused thing of DFS phosphate removal pads.
